I have set up a guitar site with all guitar chords and a php script that dynamically creates images of the chords so that it is easy to see how the chord is played. The images show which frets and strings you put your fingers on when you play a chord.

You can also search for chord names for chords that you know how to play but not what they are called.

It is good to learn the the placement of the notes on the guitar neck's fretboard, for example, you can take the bare chords Fdur and Bmoll so you can just move the fingering across the fretboard to play all the different major and minor chords.
